Louis Debattista, the Gozitan cyclist on the ALIVE 2014 Cycling Challenge for Cancer, said that they crossed the border and into Serbia yesterday, cycling on to their destination of Novi Sad.
Wednesday, day 7, and the last day for the team with a 130 km route into Belgrade. Louis said it will be nice long hill to start this morning, about 8km, then only about 105 km to go. “Thank you God for keeping us Alive and Safe.”
The ALIVE Charity Foundation has raised €62,135 so far. Help them reach their goal of €65,000.
Each rider has their own tracker so if anybody would like to follow Louis on the last day of the challenge, you can do so by going to http://alivecharity.com/tracker/. Louis is number 9 in the list. Details of how to donate are also there.
The next cycling challenge for Louis will be on the 24th July, when he will be raising funds for the Gozo CCU Foundation. He said that this challenge will be harder, 1,390km from Harpenden Luton in the UK, to Lake Como in Italy.
