On Wednesday, the Ambassador of the United States to Malta, Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, visited Gozo’s Central Public Library in Victoria and presented books donated by U.S. Embassy staff and their families.

The Ambassador met with CEO of Malta Libraries Mr. Oliver Mamo and Ministry of Gozo representatives Ms Marthese Attard and Mr Nicky Galea.

This book presentation forms part of the U.S. Embassy’s ongoing outreach activities in support of educational programming and the promotion of literacy.

The Embassy said that more donations will be made to lending libraries around Malta and Gozo in the months to come as donations permit.
