A 26-year old man from Xewkija is in danger of losing his life after falling approximately one storey, at a construction site in Triq it-Tigrija, Nadur.

The incident took place at about 8.00am this morning and the Police have said that preliminary investigations found that the victim was working on a ladder when he fell.

The young man was taken by ambulance to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was certified to be in a critical condition.

Further investigations are underway while several experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
