The third National Scientix workshop has been held at the Xewkija Government Farm, Gozo. The workshop targeted educators interested in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

During the first part of the workshop, there were brief presentations related to current ESD initiatives, delivered by the coordinators of: ecoGozo, EkoSkola, YRE, LEAF. Dinja Wahda and Plastic Oceans.

During the second part of the workshop the participants explored the Scientix portal facilities and browsed European projects related to ESD such as Carbo Schools, Organic.Edunet and EFSUPS. The workshop provided an excellent networking opportunity for local ESD educators.

The workshop was concluded with a tour around the Xewkija Hands-on Farm.
