With the welcome summer fast approaching, there are only a few berthing opportunities left for boaters at the Mgarr Marina in Gozo for this season, its management announced.

“Mgarr Marina has become the place to be in for yachters looking to spend their social or relaxing boating weekends in a good atmosphere,” says Gennaro Xerri, General Manager of Harbour Management, operators of the Mgarr Marina.

“A number of improvements and embellishment projects have taken place over the years and the marina in Mgarr has become one of the most attractive in the Maltese islands, with modern facilities, a friendly environment and buzzing atmosphere in the surrounding area.”

Xerri added, “last year, our new jet ski docks were another welcome attraction at the marina, saving owners the hassle of trailing them in and out of the water every time. Even these can be booked in advance.”

The Mgarr Marina has been upgraded with the best amenities and it offers a 24-hour service to its residents, including fuelling, maintenance, chandlery provisions and gardiennage, said Xerri.

“Prices at the Mgarr Marina are the most competitive not only in the Maltese islands but also throughout the Mediterranean. A few annual berths are still available for rent,” Gennaro Xeri concluded.
