On behalf of HSBC Malta Foundation, CEO Mark Watkinson presented a donation of €5,000 to Malta Historical Society President Professor Roger Ellul-Micallef (second left).

The donation to Malta’s oldest established non-profit organisation went toward the refurbishment of a new premise for the Society.

Thanking HSBC Malta Foundation, Prof Ellul-Micallef said that it is vital support like HSBC’s that the Malta Historical Society has been able to collect, preserve and share the invaluable evidence of the past since 1950.
