Heritage Malta has said that it is planning an exciting future project for Gozo – The Gozo Museum – with the aim of it becoming a high standard, diverse, cultural attraction on the island.

The island may only be 14km long, but it boasts a history of human settlement going back at least 7000 years.

Heritage Malta said that the Gozo Museum will seek to narrate the unique and captivating story of this island through various disciplines including archaeology, art, natural history and folklore.

“The Ministry for Gozo in collaboration with Heritage Malta will be submitting an application for EU funds for the project in the near future.”
