The Pret à Porter Fashion Show, was held recently in St. Francis Square, Victoria, as part of a series of cultural activities organised by the Gozo Cultural Council.

The show featured three local designers Vicky Ann Xuereb, weaver Alda Bugeja, and Maria Cutajar.

Weaving is one of the oldest crafts on the islands, but Gozitan weaver Alda Bugeja, presented a more modern side to weaving, with models wearing hand woven, locally designed clothing, for both day wear and evening.

Entertainment during the show was provided by popular local singers Michela Pace, Alicia Azzopardi and Jolene Samhan.

A special guest appearance was made by Katrina Pavia, from Victoria, winner of the Miss World Malta 2015 title..

As a token of gratitude and respect, a trophy was presented to each designers as a memento of the occasion, by Gwido Vella, the Chairman of the Gozo Cultural Council .

This evening was presented by Mrs. Anna Cachia.
