The Delicata Classic Wine Festival – 13th edition, returns to Nadur Gozo, next month for its 13th year, on 28/29/30th of August at Gnien il-Kunsill, Our Lady of Fatima Street.

Throughout the Nadur Festival, live entertainment will be provided every night from Gozo’s leading entertainers, including Gozo Boy, This.Co, Upper Lip, Francesca Zarb, Kelly Cassar and Rebecca Bonello on Friday; J Anvil, Straight Ahead, Planet Seed, Jolene Samhan, Isaiah Muscat and Joseph Refalo on Saturday; and Pierre Zammit, the Travellers, Cash & Band and Elaine Haber on Sunday. and an assortment of food stalls selling both Gozitan and International dishes.

There will also be a number of food stands offering some delicious foods such as sizzling pork, Maltese ftajjar and pizza, pasta, BBQ, Chinese cuisine, assorted baguettes and crepes.

For convenience, a shuttle service will be available from Mgarr Harbour direct to Gnien il-Kunsill in Nadur for a nominal fee of €2.00, for a return tip, throughout the 3 evenings of the festival.

The way it works is simple – Entrance is free. To try the wines simply purchase a wristband for the night and a souvenir glass for €12.50 (which is then yours to keep) upon entrance to the gardens.

The festival will open at 7.00pm, the last glasses and wristbands are sold at 11.00pm, the last wine is poured at 11.30pm and the festival closes at midnight.

No glasses or bottles will be sold or alcohol poured to anyone under the age of 17.

However, before the Gozo event, the Delicata Classic Wine Festival will be at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta on 6/ 7 / 8/ 9th August 2015, from 7.00pm until midnight..

At the Valletta Wine Festival live cooking stalls will be serving suckling pig, pasta, pizza, paella, koftas, kebabs, Indian dishes, sushi and Thai noodles dishes, a selection of cheese and mixed platters and desserts.

In Valletta, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only, Island Caterers will serve a Mediterranean Grill buffet, accompanied by Delicata wines, in the fully seated restaurant area down in the Saluting Battery, with its breath-taking views over the harbour, for €36 per person.

Live entertainment will be performed every night in Valletta starting with an opening night concert by Red Electrick and Planet Seed (Thurs), Billy Lee and the Spiteri Lucas Band (Fri), Relikc and The Crowns (Sat) and Cash & Band and George Curmi (Puse) and his band (Sun). The festival will be compered by Mireille Bonello and street magic will be performed by Ivan Mallia on all 4 nights.
