CABS said that the installation was found in the valley of Has-Saptan “while it was being used for the illegal catching of protected waterbirds.” It was equipped with a number of plastic birds as well as live decoys.

According to CABS, officers of the Administrative Law Enforcement (ALE) inspected the site and managed to convict the poacher. “He is expected to be arraigned at court in the coming months,” CABS said.
