Work has now started by volunteers on the 7th edition of Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem. Some of the jobs underway includes clearing the area around Ta’ Passi fields. A public meeting has also been held at the St Joseph Band Club premises.
This very popular Nativity Village, which is a very important part of Christmas in Gozo, will be officially inaugurated on Sunday, the 6th of December and will remain open until Sunday, the 3rd of January 2016, when it will close with the tradition of the Adoration of the Magi. Once again, Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem will be animated on weekends and public holidays.
All volunteers are being urged to give a helping hand to this large-scale event including cleaning and construction at Ta’ Passi fields, actors for the animation and ushers. Please contact the Ghajnsielem Local Council for further details on 21561515.
The event is being organised by the Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem Organising Committee which is formed by the Ghajnsielem Local Council, Ministry for Gozo and local NGOs.
