A reminder that next Tuesday, the 2nd of February, there will be a Gozo information meeting on the Voluntary Organisations Projects Scheme 2016.
This will be taking place at the Ministry for Gozo Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, starting at 6.30pm
Earlier this month Helena Dalli, Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties re-launched the new fund for the VOPS 2016, which is intended to promote collaboration between the voluntary organisations on various projects.
The VOPS is designed to assist applicants looking for funding on projects that can make a real difference to their local communities.
A total of €700,000 a year are being allocated to help voluntary organisations implement bigger projects on a national level.
Under this Scheme, while each accepted project submitted by a single organisation may be allocated a sum between €5,000 and €25,000, should a number of organisations apply together, the allocation for that project may go up to a maximum of €60,000.
The closing date of the VOPS 2016 deadline is the 26th of March 2016 at noon. The Guidelines for the 2016 deadline can be found here.
