The Gozo Horse Racing Association has announced that trot finals are being held this coning Sunday, the 13th of March, at Xhajma Racetrack.

These will be contested by the best trotters on the island. Qualification races for these finals were held on the 28th of February, and these races are the highlight of the winter racing calendar.

The programme starting at 8.30am consists of 11 races including Ponies and Shetland races. They are being held with the collaboration of the Gozo Local Councils.

At the end of the races, the Mayors will present trophies to the winners.

The programme for Sunday is as follows:
