Mr Stuart Gill has been appointed as the new British High Commissioner to Malta. He is married with two daughters.

Mr Stuart Gill has been appointed in succession to Mr Rob Luke, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.

The British Foreign & Commonwealth Office said that Mr Gill will take up his appointment during September 2016. He is presently Her Majesty's Ambassador in Reykjavik, a post he has held since 2012.
