The Gozo Philatelic Society has set up a new exhibit in their showcase on level -1 at Il-Hagar Museum, in St George's Square, Victoria.
A selection of ten letters marked as disinfected at Manoel Island's Lazaretto, forming part of the Juncker Melitensia collection donated to the GPS, gives an insight into an interesting – but possibly forgotten – aspect of our social history.
The Museum also hosts an old painting depicting the Raising of Lazarus, whose cult is long-established in St George's Basilica.
Opening hours for the museum are 9am-5pm seven days a week.
