A gentle reminder that a silent protest in favour of animal welfare in Malta, organised by Moira Delia, of Animal Diaries, will be taking place this coming Sunday, the 17th of April, starting at 10.30am. The message is – What good are laws without enforcement?

Moira Delia said the walk will start from near the LOVE monument which is in St Julians and continue to the Fortizza in Sliema. "We will walk to Surfside and finish our protest with a big splash where all dogs are invited for a swim! Please make sure it wont be too hot for senior dogs and everyone is requested to please bring water and doggy bags!

She said that the aim of the protest is to push for enforcement of laws in favour of animal welfare. Saying that it was pointless having good laws which are not enforced, adding that this is not a political event and no money will be collected on the day.

All animal lovers are invited to attend and take part in this walk, Moira said, "thus giving a voice to those who don't have one."
