One month after the death of Archbishop Emeritus Mgr. Joseph Mercieca, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna will be celebrating Mass at the Mdina Cathedral on Thursday, the 21st of April, at 6.00pm.

This Mass is being organised by the Catholic Education Secretariat in recognition of the contribution that Archbishop Mercieca made to Church schools. The Education Authorities and the heads of Church schools will also be attending this Mass.

On the same day, Archbishop Scicluna has asked priests in every diocese and parish to celebrate Mass for the soul Archbishop Mercieca. This Mass is to be celebrated at the most suitable time for Christians, with the participation of the parish clergy.
