Labour Leader Dr Joseph Muscat has announced that next Sunday, the 9th of November, the MLP will hold what he called a “national manifestation of courage” in Valletta at 3.30pm.
The planned activity had been previously called for by the MLP to protest against the new electricity and water rates announced by the government.
Dr Muscat made the point that this would be a national activity open to everyone rather than a party activity. Adding that instead of party flags, participants should carry the national flag which united people.
Dr Muscat told supporters that this was not a protest but a manifestation because Labour was not just saying no but was also giving its vision for the future.
We need to show the government what lies we were told before the election that there was not going to be any problems
Some of the people believed these lies and now are sorry, It should be them in front to show Gonzi our disapproval – See you all on Sunday.
