Antoine Vassallo, Diocesan President of the Catholic Action Movement, presented a contribution of €500 to Bishop Mario Grech for the new St George Preca statue in the St James's facade niche.

The presentation was made was at the end of concelebrated Mass at the Catholic Action HQ, in Victoria, for WUCWO Day – the day of Prayer by Catholic women. The programme, compered by Pauline Bezzina, continued with hymns, a discussion led Fr Trevor Sultana and prayers themed "Our Lady of Peace in the Year of Mercy."
