Gozo Channel has advised that it will be introducing a new scheme aimed at increased efficiency for its customers.
It said that those workers who cross over on a daily basis will now have the facility of using a five-day ticket instead of buying a daily ticket thus avoiding queues and reducing waiting time.
This ticket will be only available on the presentation of a valid ID card clearly showing that the beneficiary is a Gozo resident.
The ticket will cost €5.75 and will be sold only on Mondays from 3.30am to 8.15am.
The ticket may only be used between 3.30am to 8.15am and may not be used more than once within the same hour.
The ticket will be valid for five (5) days from its date of sale and may only be used with the presentation of a Gozo resident ID card every time that it is made use of. This ticket can be purchased as from Monday, the 23rd of May 2016.
