Ditched light aircraft recovered from the sea at Xlendi Bay – Video

The light aircraft that ditched into the sea off Xlendi Bay on Tuesday evening, has been recovered today, a video of the recovery is shown below.

The two Italian men who were on board the light plane were rescued uninjured from the sea by two men who were nearby on their private boat.

Gozo Police said that the ditching of the aircraft had been caused by an engine failure.
