A 55-year-old Kercem man has suffered critical injuries after falling from a height of about 8 courses on a Gozo construction site

Police said that the incident happened at about 2.10pm this afternoon when the man fell from a plank at Triq l-10 ta' Marzu 1885, Kercem.

He was rushed to the Gozo General Hospital where he was certified to being in a critical condition.

A Magisterial Inquiry has been appointed into the case, Police investigations are still ongoing.
