As part of the Gozo Sports Festival organised by the Gozo Sports Board in aid of the Community Chest Fund, the 2nd Edition of the Gozo Enduro Rally took place on Saturday in Gozo.
The Rally was held in collaboration with the Gozo Motocross Association. A total of twenty six Gozitan and Maltese riders participated in this unique event, which proved to be a great success. The route had a maximum time frame of 20 minutes.
The top winners, with the least time recorded were:
1st – Bernard Sammut
2nd – Matthew Gauci
3rd – James Zahra
4th – Mario Micallef
5th – John Attard
Gozo Sports Board and Gozo Motocross Association gave thanks to all the participants and helpers including Josef Karl Bajada, John Attard, Frank Bruno, VickyAnn Xuereb and all marshalls.
The sum of €300 was awarded to the Community Chest Fund.
GMA would like to remind all MotoX riders and fans that the 2nd Round of the YAMAHA Gozo Motocross Championship will commence next Sunday, the 13th November.
