Police have said that a 20-year-old man from Xaghra, Gozo was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon following an incident at the motocross race track in Triq ir-Rabat, Nadur, Gozo.
The accident happened at about 4pm when the man had been riding his motorbike on the track.
A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed into the case whilst Police investigations are still underway.
