Palm Sunday concert with the Leone Band at the Gozo Cathedral

The Leone Band will be in concert at the Gozo Cathedral on Palm Sunday, for an evening of Sacred Music and reflections revolving around the historic, the religious and the promised city – Jerusalem.
The band will be under the baton of Colin Attard, with the participation of tenor Alan Sciberras and the Aurora Youth Choir.
The concert programme, includes La Sollevazione Di Cristo (Oddo), AveMaria (Caccini), Preghiera (Tosti), Pieta Signore! (Stradella), Adagio in G minor (Albinoni), The Lost Chord (Sullivan), The Holy City (Adams) and La Croce (Crescimanno). Jerusalem, the concert, will be subdivided into 3 parts, named Jerusalem 5000BC, Jerusalem AD33 and Jerusalem (infinity), with critical reflections penned by Carl Scerri.
