Gozo’s tomato harvest is now well underway and the Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Clint Camilleri, recently met with farmers busy with this season’s tomato harvest.

He was accompanied by Mr John Magro, Managing Director of Magro Brothers in Xewkija. The Parliamentary Secretary expressed his appreciation for their hard work, particularly in the heat of the sun whilst tending their crops.

Following the visit to the fields, Mr Magro accompanied Parliamentary Secretary Camilleri to the Magro tomato plant to view the processing of the product, where he was greeted by the employees and Magro family members.
