The Emergency Response & Rescue Corps (ERRC) of Gozo, held a fund-raising activity on the Gozo Channel ferries between Friday and Sunday, when over €6000 was collected.

ERRC thanked all those who kindly donated over the three days, and also the management of the Gozo Channel Company for granting permission to make the collections.

The money raised will go towards the purchase of a new sea- rescue boat, which the ERRC said, will assist them in their task to prevent and alleviate emergency situations involving people at risk over the sea.

The ERRC is a Gozo-based voluntary, charitable and non-profit organisation.
