Large amounts of algae has been washed ashore over the past few days all along Ramla Bay, Gozo.
The Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana explained that since it is a protected area as a Natura 2000 site, the work of cleaning it has had to be carried out manually.
The Minister thanked the employees from the Gozo Beach Cleaning Section for their work in clearing it away.

well done
congratulations
If The Minister for Gozo considers it necessary to extend her thanks to the employees of the Gozo Beach Cleaning Service for cleaning a beach in Gozo, perhaps she might further consider thanking every employed person on Gozo for actually doing the job that they are paid to do!
