Gozo to host four concerts in the Malta International Organ Festival

Gozo welcomes international musicians to the island this month, for the fourth Malta International Organ Festival.
Four concerts will be taking place here in Gozo, with something to interest all lovers of art and classical music. Details of the concerts are shown below.
The organisers said that the festival brings together world renowned, top-notch musicians with some of the greatest music written for the organ, performed in chapels, churches, basilicas and cathedrals that showcase some of the Maltese Islands’ most stunning architectural and artistic heritage.

Friday 24th November
Solo Organ Concert by David Davies (UK) – Organ, at St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Xewkija, Gozo – 7.00pm (Free).
Sunday 26th November
Organ & Choir Concert with the Gaulitanus Choir (Gozo) – Colin Attard (Gozo) – Conductor, accompanied by Stephen Attard (Gozo) – Organ, at St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Xewkija, Gozo 7.30pm (Free).
Tuesday 28th November
Organ, Voice & Cello – Dvorak’s Biblical Songs with Andres Uibo (Estonia) – Organ, Aare Tammessalu (Estonia) – Cello & Ka Bo Chan (Hong Kong) – Coutertenor, at the Gozo Cathedral, Cittadella, Victoria, Gozo – 7.00pm (Free).
Sunday 3rd December
Solo Organ Concert – with Diego Cannizzaro (Sicily) – Organ, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church, Fontana, Gozo – 7.30pm (Free).
