On Sunday afternoon, the Armed Forces of Malta evacuated a 16-year-old British boy from Mgarr ix-Xini, Gozo.
In a statement, the AFM said that the boy was winched by helicopter and later taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance.
No details were made available as to the cause of the incident, or if the boy sustained any injuries.
