The National Blood Donation Service will be holding blood donation sessions throughout the month of September in Gozo. Blood not only revitalises the recipient but also gives them hope for healing.

With this in mind, as well as to help maintain a good blood reserve, the Service is inviting the public on Gozo to donate blood on one of the dates shown below, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija.

The Centre is located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Sundays – Last registration 1:00pm

2nd September from 8: 00am to 1: 00pm

16th September from 8: 00am to 1: 00pm

30th September from 8: 00am to 1: 00pm

Tuesday – Last registration 5:00pm

11th September from 1: 00pm-5: 00pm

25th September from 1: 00pm-5: 00pm.

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
