Adult and junior riders participated in the MotoTrials motorcycle event held in the square at Munxar, Gozo, on Sunday.

Kenzy Bonello, Martina Scicluna, Matteo and Julian Scicluna, who are all under the age of ten gave an excellent performance on their motorcycles.The GMA said that “they showed great stamina and skill as they manoeuvred their motorcycles over the obstacles around the circuit, which had been constructed especially for them.”Meanwhile, in the adult competition, Class A was won by Rowen Bonello followed by Ian Scicluna. the young Julian Scicluna won Class B. He was followed by Dion Micallef with Aiden Camilleri coming in third place.

This MotoTrials event was made by possible by the Gozo Motocross Association in collaboration with the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana, the Gozo Sports Board, and the Mayor of Munxar Local Council Sonya Abela.Speaking during the presentation of awards, the GMA President Frank Xuereb, said his aspiration is that through this activity more Gozitan children will start practising motor sports.
