The recently inaugurated gymnasium for the patients of Female Ward One at Mount Carmel Hospital is funded by the Vodafone Malta Foundation. The patients of Female Ward One come from diverse backgrounds and from different walks of life.
The age of patients in the ward is between 14 and 80 years. Each patient is a unique individual but each one of them endures similar experiences and feelings when hospitalised.
