Blood donation sessions are taking place in Gozo throughout the month of April, organised by the National Blood Transfusion Service.

There is always a constant need for blood and to help meet the demand, the public on Gozo are being invited to make a donation on one of the dates shown below.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Sundays – last registration 1:00pm

7th April from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

14th April from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

28th April from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm

9th April from 1:00pm-5:00pm

23rd April from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
