Heritage Malta invited a group of Year 10 students from the Gozo College Secondary School to visit Fort St Angelo and the current exhibition – Behind Closed Doors: Fort St Angelo & the Royal Navy 1906 – 1979.

The Heritage Malta Chairman, Dr Anton Refalo was also present during the visit. The students had the opportunity to enjoy a special tour by curators and educators from Heritage Malta.

The tour, which took place earlier this month, focused on topics which are covered in the curriculum, including the Great Siege of 1565 and the British Period in Malta.

Heritage Malta explained that this event formed part of the Thematic Educational Programmes offered its Education and Outreach Section.
