The next set of results for the Local Council elections in Gozo are now all in, and this evening they are for: Victoria, Xaghra, Gharb and Sannat.

The count process concludes on Friday for the last of the Gozo Councils, namely Munxar, Qala, Zebbug, San Lawrenz and Kercem.

Results are as follows for Gozo:

Victoria 7 seats: PN – 2,438 votes (59.03%), PL – 1,692 votes(40.97%) – seat

Gharb – 5 seats: PL – 436 votes (44.81%), GL (Gharb L-Ewwel) – 417 votes (42.86%) PN – 120 votes (12.33%)

Borg, Miriam – GL

Apap, Louis – PN.

Sannat – 5 seats: PL – 1,086 votes (77.08%), PN – 323 votes (22.92%)

Vella, Philip – PL

Bajada, Joseph – PN

Gauci, Steven – PL.

Xaghra 5 seats: PL – 1,995 votes (66.04%) PN – 1,026 votes (33.96%)
