Blue Energy Lab of MAESTRALE project meetings in Malta

The Malta Intelligent Energy Management Agency (MIEMA) is organising the final initiatives of Interreg MED MAESTRALE project in Malta.
The EU-funded project is now in its final phase, taking place over three years the project has involved eight different EU countries in laying the basis for a Blue Energy Deployment Strategy in the Mediterranean and will now produce two feasibility studies for Blue Energy pilot projects in Malta.
MIEMA is now organising the last three local meetings in Malta. The first meeting – a Regional Blue Energy Lab gathering key stakeholders from the energy sector – will take place on the 1st of August at the Europa House in Valletta.
It will include a thematic round table for discussing the possible pilot project: energy production from micro-algae. Interested participants should please register by sending an email to: info@miema.org
Then a second Regional Blue Energy Lab meeting will be held in September, combined with a short training course on Blue Energy entrepreneurship targeted to public administrations, enterprises, and business support organisations, and with a public Open Day, aimed at informing all interested citizens and organisations on the achieved results.
