The National Blood Transfusion Service said that it would like to thank everyone, who in one way or another, has contributed to the 17,000 blood donations made so far this year across Gozo and Malta.

The Service said that it is looking forward to many more years of plentiful blood donations, ensuring an adequate blood reserve for the benefit and peace of mind of anyone who might need blood.

The National Blood Transfusion Service wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
