The National Blood Transfusion Service has said that blood is in fact a scarce resource, and much needed by many patients.

A reminder that the Service is therefore asking those Gozitans who are able, to please make a donation tomorrow, Sunday, the 2nd of February, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, between 8:00am to 1:00pm (last registration until 1:00pm).

The Centre is located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
