One person who was caught breaking the law during the inspections, has been fined.
The authorities repeated the appeal that everyone should be responsible and cooperate with the directives that are being issued.
In the last 24 hours, 800 inspections were carried out on food and drinking establishments in Malta and another 150 in Gozo. No one was caught breaking the regulations to remain closed.
