The National Blood Transfusion Service in a statement on Sunday, has thanked everyone who contributed to make this morning’s blood donation session at the Xewkija Clinic such a great success and filling everyone with courage.

“Special thanks go to those 51 participants who, despite the current difficulties, came forward to donate blood, including those who came to donate blood for the first time,” the Service said.

The Service said that it looks forward to another productive session in the coming days.
