It was not that long ago that a hug, a kiss on the cheek, or a handshake, were normal practices – but no more, the Authorities have said.
Health Authorities have warned that “any physical contact with relatives or friends may cause the virus to spread further.”
“You cannot know if you have the virus or if someone else has it,” the Authorities said. “Even more so if there are no symptoms.”
As such, the Authorities have stressed that “we have to remain disciplined, vigilant, and maintain social distancing. Above all, we should use masks if we are going shopping or using public transport, and we should not mingle.”
