A 97-year old man who had been diagnosed with Covid-19, has died overnight at Karin Grech Hospital, he is the 7th person to lose his life to the virus in Malta
In a statement on Wednesday morning, the Health Ministry said that the man had first experienced Covid-19 symptoms on the 16th of May and was confirmed positive on the 17th of May.
The Health Ministry expressed its condolences to the man’s family, and reiterated the appeal for the public to follow the directives as set out by the authorities in order to protect the most vulnerable in our society.
