Tomorrow – the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus – there will be a Presbyteral and Diaconal Ordination taking place place, on the Parvis of the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu, starting at 5.30pm.

Last night, in preparation for the Ordination, a Prayer Vigil was held at the Major Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Victoria.

On Friday, Bishop Mario Grech, Apostolic Administrator for the Gozo Diocese, will lead the Sacred Ordination of;

Mario Mercieca from the Cathedral of the Assumption Victoria, to the Presbyterate,

Andrew Grima from San Lawrenz Parish, to the Diaconate, and

Fra Etienne Gilson, Conventual Franciscan (from Birkirkara), to the Diaconate
