Prime Minister Robert Abela, in a facebook post, said that, “new measures will be announced tomorrow to limit the rate of infections, while ensuring that matters remain under control.”

Abela said that this afternoon’s meeting had been a “very constructive” with Health Minister Chris Fearne and Superintendent of Public Health Prof Charmaine Gauci.

The Prime Minister described the new measures as being “a balanced approach that protects the lives and livelihood of Maltese citizens.”
