Fontana man granted bail after threatening Police and resisting arrest

A 31-year-old man from Fontana, was arraigned in the Gozo Court on Sunday, accused of attacking and threatening Police Officers, as well as resisting arrest.
Police said that man had resisted arrest while inebriated in St Francis Square, Victoria and Enrico Mizzi Street on Saturday.
He was also charged with being a relapser and disobeying Police orders.
The man pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail against conditions
Police Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri prosecuted.
