A 77-year old man died yesterday with Covid-19, he becomes the 50th victim of the virus.
The Health Ministry, in a statement on Saturday, said that the man confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 13th of October. He continued to be cared for at the home for the elderly where he lived.
The Ministry said that he “suffered from another chronic illness.”
The Health Ministry, while offering its condolences to the patient’s family, once again reiterated its appeal for the public to continue to follow the public health guidelines, including frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask.
