A 68-year old man has died from Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said. He becomes the 61st victim of the virus.
The Ministry in a statement on Friday said the man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 25th of October and was confirmed positive the next day. He continued to be treated at Mater Dei where he passed away earlier today.
The Ministry said that “the man was suffering from other health problems.”
The Health Ministry, while offering its condolences to the patient’s family, once again reiterated its appeal for the public to continue to follow the public health guidelines, including frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask.
