A large number of participants entered last year’s first edition of the Gharb race, organised by the Local Council.
This year’s race will be held on the 13th of December starting from Gharb square at 9.00am.
Just like last year there will be a 5K race for adults and 2K with three categories for children between 5 and 6, 7 to 8, and 9 to 11 years old.
The Council explained that each participant will receive a medal and a bag of goodies in which there will be a surprise, and encouraged as many people as possible to take part.
Numbers will be collected from the Main Square Pjazza Taz-Zjara Tal-Madonna, which is the starting place. More than 20 trophies will be awarded.
