The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association has congratulated Minister Clayton Bartolo on his appointment as the new Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection.

The MHRA pledged to “keep working constructively with the policy makers and Minister Bartolo not only in facing the current difficulties which the Covid-19 pandemic has posed to the tourism, travel and hospitality sector, but more importantly in setting up a new strategy for the future.”

The Association went on to thank Minister Julia Farrugia Portelli for her “support and relentless work for the tourism sector during probably the worst time for the sector due to the unprecedented difficulties created by the pandemic.”
